Detailed baseline documentation of what furniture,
fixtures and equipment assets exist, where they
are located, manufacturer, model, size, condition,
etc.
- Re-use Evaluation / Refurbishing
Determination of what existing FF&E assets make
sense to repair, refurbish and reuse.
- National Buying Agreement
Negotiation
Evaluate the terms of client's national buying
agreement with furniture manufacturer. Renegotiations
of these national contracts have resulted in savings
of millions of dollars.
- Competitive Bid FF&E
Procurement (RFP)
Evaluate client's FF&E needs in terms of function,
budget, image, etc. Tour manufacturer facilities
to evaluate product. Develop furniture standards
and create a competitive RFP specification addressing
performance criteria, finishes, and acceptable product
lines. Evaluate bids, coordinate furniture "mock-ups"
for final review by client and recommend award of
contract.
- “Cash Harvesting” of
Existing FF&E Assets
Evaluate financing possibilities for obtaining
cash-back for conversion of owned asset to capital
lease, depending on age and condition of the FF&E
asset.
- Installation Oversight
/ Punchlist
Review dealer's installation drawings, visit
installation site and complete detailed furniture
installation punch list.
